Text & Email

We are able to offer a limited text message and email service to our patients. At the moment this is mainly used to send appointment reminders/confirmations, and some test result information, by text message. We also sometimes send messages about important services.

If you would like to opt out of this service, please ring reception and let us know. It is also important that you keep us updated with your mobile number and email address - so do let us know about any changes straight away.

If you receive a text message or email from us, please do not reply to it directly, as we do not currently have any way to deal with replies - they will be automatically deleted. Instead please ring reception as usual. We hope to be able to offer a reply service in future but unfortunately it is not possible at the moment.

In the future, we may be able to expand this service. Here are some examples of how we might use it:

  • To invite you for screening or vaccination
  • To ask for updated contact details
